Business Networking
The desire to find a business networking community that I wanted to be a part of provided me the motivation to form my own. It wasn’t that there’s a shortage of business associations, but more a matter of wanting to get real value out of a network than was currently available. I wanted to be able to promote my business, socialize in a business setting, be a part of innovative and productive discussions. I wanted out-of-the-box thinking. I wanted a group that would help me develop as a businessperson, and help my business grow. I also wanted to be able to promote my business to the community at large, and I didn’t want to spend a fortune doing all of this.
My intention was to organize a group of people, together we could share resources and send work to each other. A group, who could after developing their own business could look at developing our communities. Working closely with members of this business network we developed our members only networking forum, website and promotional material. I started to dedicate a small amount of time each day to develop and promote the group, if for no other reason, I knew that through networking came leads. Everywhere I went the feedback was and continues to be fantastic.
